Pamela Anderson goes clubbing in Dubai [March 12, 2013]

She may not have squeezed her fabulous body into that iconic red one-piece swimsuit, but former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson early Wednesday morning proved she’s still got it. She swooped into Dubai’s new nightclub VIP Room at 1am swathed in a demure floral Vivienne Westwood (no heaving bosom or running across sandy stretches involved) with a mission to breathe glamour and star power into a room filled with merry clubbers.

“It’s nice to come back after five years and it’s good to see everybody again. I always have ulterior motives,” said Anderson told tabloid! in her squeaky-yet-sexy voice. The last time she was in the UAE, she channeled her star power in a Make A Wish Foundation charity auction dinner in Abu Dhabi to help critically-ill children.

“By ulterior motives, I mean for positive things,” she added with a laugh and a wink that would melt any cynic out there. The star of America’s pervasive cultural export Baywatch, who played the buxom lifeguard CJ Parker, turned on an entire generation in the 1990s. But the sex symbol-turned-animal rights activist now has set her eyes on graver subjects.

“Every time I travel, I use it for animal rights. There are specific things in the Middle East I want to talk about,” said Anderson, who had previously lobbied for the freedom of Dubai’s Sammy The Shark held captive in a local aquarium.
“It’s always been on my mind. Soon, I will be heading to the Cannes to host a party for Bridget Bardot to raise some money for her animal rights at the Cannes Film Festival,” said Anderson.

When asked whether her UAE plans revolved around working on building that ambitious eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi, she told us that the project has been put on hold. During her last visit, Anderson had announced plans to build an environmentally-friendly resort.

“We were planning on it but it fell apart due to the recession in America and here. It just didn’t happen, I would love to do that. I am really sad that it didn’t happen and I really want to do it,” said Anderson.

The 45-year-old pin-up also slammed reports that she will hit the beach one last time in a Baywatch movie spin-off. In recent weeks, reports have been swirling that Anderson will wear that red suit again.

“No, I have never heard of it. Nobody has ever called me. This is funny, but I don’t want to do it. I don’t like to remake things. The television show was so sweet, I had rather not make a spoof of it,” said Anderson. She recalls her stint as lifeguard CJ Parker as “wholesome and sweet”.

“I hope they still perceive me as that Baywatch star. I like that image because it was a great time in my life … I am proud of that time. Some things may have gone out of control – my marriage etc. But now I am back to being healthy in a wholesome, assembled world,” said Anderson. Oozing confidence in a sweet dress cinched at her tiny waist, her top tip to women out there is to be comfortable in their own skin. It was clear that she lives by that philosophy as she glided into the VIP Room at the JW Marriott Dubai and let her hair down to hits such as Sexy And I Know It. But it’s not all fun. Her biggest fear about being a celebrity?

“That I have to do club appearances for the rest of my life.” Then: “I am kidding,” she added with that loud laughter.
“Seriously, I have always loved VIP Room. It’s a great place and I am supporting my friend Jean Roch [VIP Room founder],” said Anderson, who partied late into the night.

A spokesman for the union said: “The event went really well. Our members got the opportunity to engage with a well-known figure in Pamela Anderson on animal rights, which is a very important topic.”

Pamela Anderson: I will never do reality TV again

Pamela+Anderson+2nd+Annual+Sean+Penn+Friends+8bX2HaX9Mmfx 500x749 Pamela Anderson: I will never do reality TV again

Pamela Anderson has vowed to ”never” star on a reality TV show again after her shock exit from the UK ice skating programme ‘Dancing on Ice’ last night (06.01.13).

Pamela Anderson says she will ”never” appear in a reality show again following her early ‘Dancing on Ice’ exit.

The 45-year-old beauty crashed out of the British skating show last night (06.01.13), and as a result of her shock first round departure the ‘Baywatch’ babe doesn’t want to star in another similar show, preferring to take her talents to Las Vegas, where she wants to continue skating or have her own musical production.

She said: ”I’m never doing this again. No. Last time. Because I don’t think I should be in this kind of environment anymore, I don’t know what I’m doing. Everybody around me in my life and in my career is always telling me not to do these things.

”I’m always like, ‘I’m going to do what I want, I’m going to learn how to skate, I’m going to have fun, I’m going to do everything, I’m going to make bold choices, not necessarily what everyone else would do.

”I’ve learned how to dance, I’ve learned how to skate, I’d rather get on stage now and put some of that to use. I’m now doing musical theatre, I’ll probably end up in Vegas at some point. I’ve been offered many shows, my own personal shows.”

The former ‘Baywatch’ babe finished sixth on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2010, but crashed out in the first round of the ballroom competition’s all-stars series last year.
Following her early ‘Dancing on Ice’ exit, Pamela now plans to use her spare time to work on her charity projects in Haiti.

Speaking on British daytime TV show ‘This Morning’, she said: ”I work a lot in Haiti and I just got back from Honduras doing a reforestation programme in the foundation, so we are going to apply that to Haiti and we are going to raise money.”

Pamela Anderson: I Need a Brainwatch

Pamela Anderson an 1649763a 500x713 Pamela Anderson: I Need a Brainwatch

Dancing on Ice babe Pamela Anderson has had such a dire few years that she’s planning to go back into THERAPY.

The star — who was knocked off the show last night with partner Matt Evers — admitted that she was left stressed and virtually penniless after building her dream home.

She was then given a further battering by the taxman who demanded thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes. Pammi told TV Biz that she now plans to return to the long-standing shrink who she hasn’t seen for years.

The actress revealed: “I’ve had some interesting therapists.I haven’t been in a long time. I probably should go back. I’ve been working non-stop, digging myself out of a construction hole.”

“The house just enveloped me financially and I didn’t know how to handle it. It happens to a lot of people in Hollywood. It was a very stressful couple of years.”

Pamela still owes the taxman 370,000 dollars (£230,000) but said she was paying that off — albeit slowly.

She added: “Oh, I still owe the taxes but I’m working on that.I’m paying that off monthly. I was in a bizarre situation with a former business manager. I don’t want to blame anyone. I want to put it behind me and move forward.”

She spent so much time in therapy that her shrink became her pal.

She said: “My therapist was eccentric and old. I love seeing him and talking. We became friends — but I was paying for it. My grandfather was really into mythology and fairy tales and symbolism — and that’s part of my life. So I re-hash that with my therapist. I don’t know how much of that’s therapy. In fact, he actually told me more about his life than I told him about mine.”

Pammi was tempted back into therapy after signing up to take on the role of a therapist in a new Canadian TV drama.
She said: “I’ve considered a role in a show called Package Deal. I actually play a therapist, which is funny. She uses unorthodox methods.”

Gutted Pamela Anderson blamed her boobs for distracting her during her doomed skate-off last night. The former Baywatch actress became the first celebrity to get the chop from Dancing On Ice after stumbling during the all-important routine.

She had been busy struggling to keep her cleavage inside her skimpy white outfit. As she left the rink, Pamela joked: “My dress fell off.” Later, after losing out to Keith Chegwin, in the skate-off between the two lowest-scoring celebs, the star apologised to partner Matt Evers.

She admitted: “I feel so bad for Matt. He should not be here. I stumbled, my dress… my boobs fell out.
“It happens. It’s common in my life.”

ITV bosses are also likely to be disappointed with the result. They are believed to have paid £50,000 to lure the Nineties pin-up to be one of the new series’ star attractions.

Asked how she felt after getting the boot, Pamela said: “Sad – but it was really fun and now I know how to skate a little bit. I’ll keep skating for sure.”
